Although the new Bond film killed it in England, setting UK box office records, 007 raked in $40.6 million and was beaten by a bunch of singing and dancing penguins who took in $42.3 million here in the states. Such a shame as Daniel Craig responds to all the tabloid criticism with an outstanding performance as the secret agent and injecting new life into a franchise that was slowly becoming a cliche of itself. Even the fire alarm going off an hour in didn't take away from the movie.Get out there this holiday weekend and if your wife or girlfriend won't go because it's an action film you can bribe them with a shirtless Daniel Craig who, according to me some female friends, has a nice ass.
