Director Robert Altman, best known for M.A.S.H, Gosford Park, The Player, and Nashville passed away at a Los Angeles hospital Monday night. Details concerning his death have not yet been released, he was 81. His independence and irreverant attitude towards standardized Hollywood filmaking will be greatly missed. Now Hollywood can continue turn out the same repackaged drivel with one less hurdle in their way. May god help us.

Rest in Peace, Bob. I hope Linda's holding up okay.
I hope your obituary is better than your movies.
