Director Robert Altman, best known for M.A.S.H, Gosford Park, The Player, and Nashville passed away at a Los Angeles hospital Monday night. Details concerning his death have not yet been released, he was 81. His independence and irreverant attitude towards standardized Hollywood filmaking will be greatly missed.
