I am another one of those people who got sober at 19, and am now 30. Each AA intergroup office by AAs 12 traditions has autonomy to do what they want as long as it doesn't effect AA as a whole. For example in my are a Blue Chip= 90 days to 6 months of sobriety. When I moved to a different area for a year a Red chip = 90 days to 6 months
