Photographers reported that John Mayer tried unsuccessfully to shield his 'girlfriend' Jessica Simpson from the press in New York. The couple were on the way to a concert and I think it's very cute how Jessica's man is being all protective over her. They look great together. I wonder if he will write a song about her?
