Lane Garrison to be charged today
11:21 Thursday, March 8, 2007
Former "Prison Break" star Lane Garrison will be charged with felony vehicular manslaughter for his December car crash that killed 17-year-old Vahagn Setian when his car hit a tree.
The bad news doesn't stop there, Garrison will also be charged with driving under the influence (his blood-alcohol level was .20, twice the legal limit), providing alcohol to a minor and gross negligence. He could face up to 6 years in prison.
Looks like he may get to use all those prison break skills for real.

Oh wow, up to SIX years?
I'm impressed.
Later,
Tom
he could get casted on OZ-
If Paris Hilton had been the driver, she would have gotten 20 hours community service and face the loss of one night out on the town.
This is all so sad and a waste of life
that has been lost--Just maybe this will be a lesson to save Lane's life in the future as well as others--We can all learn from others mistakes--Please don't drink and drive-----
A 17 year old kid is killed 2 15 year old kids are seriously injured and all he could get is 6 years in prison. No wonder why people drink and drive the penalties are not stiff enough Lane's lawyer is talking about plea deals if a deal is made shame on D.A. If I was that boy's parents I would hold protests in the streets demanding the full sentence which is not enough. This not his first drinking and driving offense. This guy is a punk and should be treated as such.
I'm sad for the loss...it's tragic and shouldn't have happened, but two questions.
WHY were these 17 & 15 y/o 90210 kids out cruising the town, hanging at markets looking for booze?
WHERE WERE THE PARENTS AND WHY DID THEY ALLOW THEM OUT?
