Michael Jackson to sell Beatles music collection.
9:24 Monday, March 12, 2007
The piggy bank rattles less and less these days for poor old Jacko. The hard-up star has been forced to sell off his Beatles music catalogue. Michael bought the collection 22 years ago after he out bid Paul McCartney. But due to his lavish lifestyle and many court cases, he ran up debts resulting in him having to sell part of his ownership to Sony. Now under the deal he must sell the rest to them by May next year, which he will use to pay off most of his loans.

Yo Jacko-
Dont feel bad about blowing your fortune-- U cant touch this

We care about this, Why? We are supposed to feel sorry for this freak?
Poor old Jacko my ass!! He didn't just out bid Paul, he stabbed him in the back after be-friending him. He has a long history of not paying up. Including actors & actress' for his videos. The man is not only a freaky-kid-mol, but a cheap ass as well.
I hope Sir Paul buys his music back. It's terrible that artist's music can be sold by companies to molesters like Jackson....if you wrote it, it should be YOURS.
Someone needs to buy Jackson's songs from him...oh wait, i think he's already sold some to make money. Besides not learning about 'bad touch' he never seemed to learn about proper spending....
You people have to be morons. You listen to roger friedman that dumb jew. Paul would be dead before he ever sees that catalog. Sony music has first rigts to the music. So if paul wanted the music he should have paid the 11 million dollars when it was offered to him before the music was put out in the open market. Mj and others put money down and bet for that music, MJ won. SO do not blame him for paul being a cheap son of a bitch.
If you fool think MJ is broke. You're stupid. SONY has found an "aggressive" way to get that collection. Something u guys know nothing about. Stop hating on MJ. He could live 400 more years and still have more money than you. So whose the broke one?
Haterz juice is at your local kitchen.
I remember that it was Vitiligo that made Wacko's skin turn so uniformly white but what was the syndrome that made his lips permanently red?
Jackson isn't selling nawt to anyone. He's owned 50% of the Beatles catalogue since 1995 and still will in May 2008 and well after that.
Stop reporting rubbish Splashnews.
Its amazing how much people DON'T know.
Re: Miss Tia
You're forgetting that Paul McCartney owns other people's songs too through music publishing. But I bet you probably didn't even know that, did you? And John Lennon wrote most of those songs anyway! You know, Paul isn't the only Beatle. There were four of them, remember? Michael is not a child molester, and you're so pathetic. Your comments are so out of the loop. Michael never sold any of his songs for money, and no one can buy his songs because he owns the rights. He is a very good business man.
Re: AvatarCHARLOTTE
He doesn't have a long history of "not paying up". He has a long history of people trying to get money from him! That is the fact of the matter. All these people who claim that he "owes" them money only come out about it years long after those jobs. Ola Ray, the model from Thriller, has now after 20 years that shes upset that shes never gotten her money. So shes just now talking about it? Or is she so broke that she just now remembers that he didn't, which is probably not true, that she needs the money? Probably cause her career went no where.
People who defend Paul are the funniest dumbwits on earth. Stabbed him in the back, betraying a friend, what kind of BS is that? Paul is the one who SUGGESTED that Michael go into music publishing! Michael asked and told Paul he was going to buy them, and Paul McCartney admitted this in all his interviews (yes the old fart still talks about it). Second, Paul is only one of the Beatles. Or did you forget. Third, if that catalog is so dear why was it up for sale in the first place? If Paul really wanted them, he could easily outbid Michael. He is one of the richest artists during that time.
Re: Urbanspaceman
Vitiligo patients go under depigmentation therapy to make their skin even and uniform. The disorder causes patches/blotches first, and Michael used to wear it with make up.
You can go through the vitiligo catergori of my blog to read about more information. I have links to sources of vitiligo support groups, pictures and all that kind of thing.
