Anna Nicole Smith's grave site has become such a tourist attraction that the Lakeview Cemetery has had to hire 24-hour security guards to restrict access to locals only. Tourists visiting the island and those spilling out of the docked cruise ships are causing havoc for the locals looking to grieve in silence for their family members and friends.
Anna Nicole's Bahamian home has also become a tourist attraction as well, its the picture above with all the "fans" posed in front of the gate.
You'd think the Bahamian officials would have been prepared for this because I swear I heard a loud "ka-ching!" when the verdict was announced.
I think this is planned--that by making the cemetery for 'locals only' and hiring guards, it is making it MORE of a tourist attraction. The Bahamas haven't had such a huge attraction to their islands (besides their natural beauty and tranquility) since the Duke of Windsor was the governor general back during WWII.
They're smart down there....they know this is going to bring a lot of money into their islands. They aren't going to stop tourists from these places associated with ANS. They'll come up wtih a way to do it and keep the locals happy.
And i highly doubt the Bahamas' courts are going to allow ANS and her son be removed from there and let Virgie make all the money off their graves.
Hell, i'm surprised that Virgie isn't sitting outside the cemetery down there charging tourists to have their pix taken with HER. Virgie is vile.
let the dead rest in peace.
