ANS' will, though written in 2001, names HKS as the executor and guardian of Daniel. Probate wise, HKS will more than likely end up executor of her current estate and could be named guardian of Dannielynn [no matter who the father is].

Whoever is the father does not automatically get control of ANS's estate. She had a will and those wishes will be carried out [or attempted to be carried out with all the legal finangling].

I do not think HKS has tricks up his sleeves. He was probably trying to make peace as the poor man probably just wants to grieve. ANS didn't know who the father was, but she did name HKS on the birth certificate. HKS would do anything ANS wanted. If he is not the father, I am sure he would handle this situation professionally, tactfully and not as a circus---but his overall concern would be for carrying out ANS's wishes.

HKS does not need financial security. He has a family, and he can always get a job as an attorney. Now, how is Virgie paying for attorneys and court costs?? oh yeah, apparently this here Splash organization! And how's Larry getting money?? Selling ANS pictures. No one is innocent, but so far, it appears that only HKS has ANS' interests at heart.

And if HKS was such a good guy, then shouldn't a good guy want Dannielynn to know who her real father is? He's procrastinating, and his "grieving" certainly did not stand in his way of selling interviews to the entertainment press. I guess that was more a priority than anything else.

One of the Splash guys sat with Virgie at the funeral along with Rita Cosby of MSNBC and you have the nerve to try to make Howard look bad? Even the minister addressed the issue of Virgie being late for Anna’s funeral while at the courthouse trying to stop it. Virgie deserves all the Boos she received when she did arrive.

Im sorry but I dont understand, if Stern is such a good guy then why didn't he get Anna to a hospital or some medical care for her 105 degree temp and why did he continue to abide her drug use and not get her into a rehap? To me it seems like the handling of both issues is cause to question his ability to take care of dannylynn.

I felt like with her battling for Larry that he had a good chance to get custody but now I'm not sure how it will turn out.

If proven that Larry Birkhead is the biological father, it does not make him the Father. I think that name has to be earned. We all want what is best for Dannielynn. And what the mother Anna wanted what was best for her also. This hole thing is crazy and no one is going to win, years from now peoples lives will still be affected and hopefully Dannielynn will not have any emotional problems with all of this heartache. Let's let Anna rest in peace.

I'm sick of everyone trashing this man. He's the only person that has been trying to do what Anna wanted. Everyone else is just trying to make money off all of it. Even her own mother, if one can really call her that. Larry is trying to make money off this and that sleazy Ford Shelley is selling stolen goods that he stole himself! And the tv media are buying them.

What about this so called doctor friend of Anna's. She is guilty of prescribing most of those meds to Anna. She was there in the house when Anna was taking them, so why do you all blame everything on Howard. This doctor is responsible for the meds Anna was on, not Howard. Anna was capable of taking those meds herself. Howard didn't have to give them to her.

I hope so much that Howard will be awarded custody of Dannielynn, because he is taking good care of her and has bonded with her and he is the only father she knows and should ever know. I hope the courts will see that.

i think howard k stern is a wonderful man. larry and virgie are money grubbers. larry has already done a dna he knows he's not the father. now he want't howards. what does that tell everyone. howard was good to anna and daniel, that was told in court. her mother let her be abused and raped according to anna. do you think that would be a good environment for this little baby? i hope the courts clear up all this garbage about howard and let him grieve over his loss. howard if you read this, there are people who are standing behind you 100%. take care of yourself and dannilynn. you will win in the end. the courts will see through all these peoples lies. god bless you
