American Idol star Jessica Sierra was behind bars yesterday after being arrested for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and possession of cocaine, at a café in Sierra's home town of Tampa, Florida, The 21-year-old singer, a top ten finalist on Idol's Season 4, is alleged to have smashed a heavy glass over the head of a man identified as Wisan Hadad, causing a laceration over his eye. That dude must have used a bad chat up line! And then as if getting arrested wasn't enough. she is also alleged to have tried to smuggle drugs into the jail. Sierra was in possession of a small amount of cocaine, say police, and a further quantity was discovered as she was booked into the Falkenburg Road jail, where she is being held on $11,500 bond.
