The Australian MTV Awards wasn't really a star studded event but when any show has to call in Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas and Joel Madden of Good Charlotte to host, then surely it's got disaster written all over it? None of the 'better' nominees like Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Gwen Stefani and Christina Aguilera bothered to take the long haul flight to Australia so that left Fergie and Pink to revel in the limelight for once (can you tell these are my least two favourite people?). Pink kick started the night’s performances and also won Best Female Artist beating Christina Aguilera and Gwen Stefani. Fergie won best video for fergalicious over Justin Timberlake and Beyonce. The night also included performances from Jared Leto, Good Charlotte and Silverchair.
