It fulfills a recurring dream I've had for years...one where I'm in the water at Surfrider Beach and a 747 crashes into the water behind me.

can you imagine how noisy that is??? not to mention the diesel fumes....what idiot designed that to have planes fly over a beach??

What idiot? Don't you think that if there was a feasible alternative it would have been used?! I have flown into similar islands (yes, I am intelligent enough to know that there is a world beyond the US) and they are small, full of hills, etc. and that's the way it has to be. Dumb-de-dumb-dumb.

Was just there 2 weeks ago. It was scary coming in right over people's heads. You could wave and they would wave right back.
