It is being reported in today's Page Six that Britney has finally had enough of Larry Rudolph, firing him last Friday and re-hiring her former P.R. Leslie Sloane Zelnick. Britney blames Rudolph for hooking her up with Paris Hilton (who she blames for her partying) along with several other things including her stint in rehab. Seriously, blaming Rudolph for your partying with Paris and flashing your vag? Is that a joke? I highly doubt Larry turned to her one day and said, "I know how we can save your career and get you back into the spotlight." Britney: Oh, please do tell, my babies need some more of those new fangled outhouses that you strap to their derrieres and my supply of Red Bull and Newport Lights is getting low. Larry: Paris Hilton Britney: Paris Hilton? Larry: Yes, Paris Hilton. The paparazzi follow her every move and the camera loves her. Not even porn, a dui, or using the n-word has derailed her train. She can do the same for you. Britney: Gee, that thar is a swell idear. Praise Jesus! Britney, take some responsibility for your actions, you can't keep blaming other people because you don't know how to act.

When you're depressed and overwhelmed, you actually do things that others pressure you to do, even when it's against your better judgment. You're too tired and exhausted to keep fighting back. Bullies and predators seek out depressed people because they're so easy to dominate. It is entirely possible that Britney's manager(s) got her to do things that Britney now regrets. Had Britney had her "druthers," she would have 1) pushed back; 2) negotiated with the manager for compromise actions that sat better with her own gut; and/or 3) just said no. Although Britney may no longer be able to do any of those things, she probably remembers having once done them. On days when she's feeling better, for whatever reason, she remembers and/or realizes what others have bullied her into and she takes corrective action.

Splash journalists need to be more responsible in their reporting. Your ignorance and sheer viciousness have an effect on society's ignorance and on the life of the human being you're reporting on. Just because Britney's managers may have played their cards so well that Britney herself has taken the blame for their bad advice, doesn't mean that this website company needs to help cover their possible private wickedness against her.

Why don't you find out what really happened between this one manager and Britney? Why don't you research the power and influence that business managers have over young, vulnerable celebrities? You're journalists, right?
