Catherine Zeta Jones was spotted eating alone yesterday days after a long term friend of the star spoke out to a UK magazine sparking rumours that the stars eight year marriage could be trouble. Catherine who is married to Michael Douglas, has reportedly experienced more downs in her marriage of late than ups. Their most recent row being in New York during a ceremony when Michael accepted the role of an ambassador with the UN. Catherine reportedly was in tears. Strains have also developed due to Micheal's happiness for a quiet life at home, while Catherine has strong desires to make another film and earn another Oscar. Rumours were fuelled further when Catherine recently held the hand of her co star from No Reservations at an awards show in Miami, days after Michael joked he'd like to star in a movie with his wife so he could do away with her.

This story is a bunch of bull shit. First of all they haven't been married for 8 years and second of all he didn't just accept to be a UN ambassador.

Wait... she married him for his status and money? That's a joke right? Doesn't she have her own staus and money. Isn't that why he married her, because he can't get a role of his own. Besides that Michael Douglas is a dick. He raised his son's also to be dicks. He's old and used up. So he wants to settle now that no-one wants him for a role. She's still young and beautiful and should be able to do those things. Like I said he's a dick.

i agree. she married him for his status and money. what a way to get into the circle of the hollywood elite.

she also gets a guaranteed $3 million for every year of marriage. and then of course jewelry, gifts, etc... (remember her engagement ring worth a gazillion?)

and now that she's famous. she starts holding other men's hands... that's what Michael gets for divorcing his first wife of many years.

I believe it. They live in Bermuda. Son Cameron is a big loser and a druggie. I heard one story about their daughter was not normally developing (C smoked while pregnant.) They have big problems. I used to think they were happy but actor/actress marriages rarely work for long.

True. They hide the kids in Bermuda. Maybe she is autistic the poor kid. She is cute. The son seems normal. I like Michael Douglas.
