10:53 Wednesday, April 11, 2007
Snoop Dogg, real name Calvin Broadus, is scheduled to be arraigned this morning in Pasadena Supreme Court on two felony counts of gun possession by a convicted felon and transportation of a controlled substance.
Snoop was arrested on October 26, 2006 at Bob Home Airport in Burbank, CA on suspicion of transportation of a controlled substance and when Burbank police executed a search warrant of his home they found a gun. Snoop was later arrested again while leaving a taping of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
If convicted, Snoop Dogg could face up to 4-years in prison. Not only does he have a previous conviction of felony drug possession and possession for sale back in 1990, he is still facing charges from his arrest for possession of a deadly weapon at John Wayne Airport after airport security found a collapsible police baton in his carry on luggage.
Lets hope he doesn't rock those slippers to the court house.
