The US needs to wake up and get some gun control. This crap doesn't happen in Europe and Canada. When is this going to stop? How sad.

This is why I am all for gun control. For example, why does someone think they have to own 10 AK-47's? Why is it these scumbag psychos go on a killing spree before killing themselves. Its terrible, its sad. I live about an hour or so from Nickel Mines where the Amish children were killed, those poor kids. We need gun control big time.

Here's my $.02...

Video game players are being desensitized to violence in real life. Those that perp such violence are often acting out their on-screen games.

There are drug laws, but still plenty of drugs around. Same with present & future gun laws. They won't stop the nuts.

What we really need is more security on college campuses and school grounds.

And that's the sad truth. Childhood innocence is becoming obsolete.

A tragedy like this would not happen here in Ireland. It is way too easy to get guns in the USA. The USA is famous for high school/college shootings. The gun laws need to be changed asap.

Thank GOD we have a Republican president.

Whereas, if we *ALL* had one this tragedy would never have happened on such a scale.

Everyone should be legally required to have A firearm in their home, like in Switzerland.

Why is it that each & every time there's a tragedy or mis-hap in this country people immediately start playing the blame game? we need gun control....the NRA is responsible....we need tougher gun laws...the cops are responsible...fire the campus president...it's bulls&%t! How about the guy who had his "jackass button" pushed 1 too many times is the one to blame?! Do you actually believe for 1 second that IF we had "gun control" it would've stopped this person? If he was intent on going on a shooting rampage, he would've found a way to acquire a gun(s). If you take away a persons right to bear arms, who will protect them from the person(s) illegally carrying a gun? Maybe if a professor or a student there had been armed, the shooter could've been stopped. And getting a gun legally IS NOT that simple as some would like to think! In most instances, you have to take a firearms safety class, pay a fee to fill out the application (in part detailing why you want it then have that reason deemed valid by local PD) then IF approved, wait an additional 40 days to r'cv the license so you can purchase a gun. Then you've got your basic thug who makes a phone call, has a meeting, pays cash and has a gun all in the same day! Get real people of America and stop drinking the Liberal Kool-Aid!
