Rip Torn has decided not to fight his December 2006 DUI arrest and pleaded guilty. He has been ordered to pay $380 (that's it??) and surrender his license for 90-days. Torn was arrested in North Salem, New York after his car collided with a tractor trailer. He refused a sobriety test and was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence. In other DUI news, Paris Hilton has been ordered to appear in court on May 4th to answer to charges that she violated her probation by driving with a suspended license. Hilton pleaded no contest in January to alcohol-related reckless driving and as part of her sentence, her license was suspended. She was later stopped and ticketed on February 28 for misdemeanor driving with a suspended license after her car was pulled over on Sunset Boulevard for speeding and driving without her headlights on. Man I hope she gets jail time.
