Joss Stone got back to her roots when she made in appearance in Devon, Kent, where she turned on the Christmas lights in Barnstaple. So I think that TNT-detonator thingy is the light switch, but it's certainly not bringing me any holiday cheer. :( Neither is Joss's hair. . . although it's certainly a marked improvement over this.

She was born in Dover in Kent South East England and raised in Ashill in Devon South West England They are about 6 hours drive apart and not the same place at all!!

speaking as some boby who was there that night, and worked closly with the lantern fm radio on that day in barnstaple, i can confirm she just got to barnstaple after the night before doing children in need, she stayed at the imperial hotel in barnstple (devon) part of the brend hotel group, the tnt thing is our was of switching on the towns lights and then she sang son of a preacher man. this is definatly NOT kent, she had two days of to spend with her familly the flew off on another tour (australlia i think) she was a great boost to the town and to he choosen charity amiegos.
