Harrison Ford and the lovely Calista Flockhart, along with her son Liam, helped at out yesterday to the L.A. Mission to feed the poor. Thousands of homeless people celebrated Thanksgiving at the Los Angeles Mission, along with celebrities, dignitaries and elected leaders all serving their holiday meals. Kirk Douglas and his wife Anne hosted the event for the third consecutive year.

You wouldn't think that homeless people would have much to celebrate except being thankful that they have a meal.

I hate celebs who do photo ops for "charity" work. If they really gave a shit, they wouldn't take even more advantage of the homeless, ya know?

These celebs should buy all the homeless DVD players so they'll be thrilled to recognize these geezers!

I'm generally for dissing the celebs, but in this case, I think it's a very nice gesture. It certainly beats spending the holidays getting photographed shopping at $$$ stores in NYC, doesn't it?
