Daddy Has Spoken

Ashlee Simpson has been banned from bringing her boyfriend Pete Wentz home for Christmas, it has been claimed. The pop star's dad Joe Simpson, a former Baptist preacher, is reportedly preventing rocker Wentz from attending the Simpson festive holiday. At the centre of the alleged problem is Wentz's interview with Blender magazine in which he claimed to have kissed other men. "Joe was skeptical about the relationship from the start," an insider told Star magazine. "There is a rumour that Pete tried to commit suicide, but with the news of his possible bisexuality, Joe blew his top." The news has not gone down well with Ashlee. "She is upset, but she values her dad's opinions and has agreed." Note to Joe: Ashlee is very young, this won't be the first boyfriend you don't like and it won't be the last! This father is positively creepy the way he controls his daughters and sets up/ pays for men to date them. It is bizarre to a questionable point way beyond parental concern.

I really doubt he pays men to date his daughters. The setting up is more believable. What is stupid about this man is how he's sort of keeping "immoral" people away from his pure-celestial house, when his own daughters are anything but pure.
