Heidi's Klum's Clover Fiasco

Heidi Klum is being sued for allegedly ripping off designs from designers Van Cleef & Arpels. Apparently there are some rather irritated execs who believe that Klum's Mouward USA line is far too similar to the Alhambra line over at Van Cleef, and the complaint filed states that "Defendants have appropriated this design and incorporated it into their jewelry line, attempting to appropriate the goodwill built up by Van Cleef & Arpels to create their own 'symbol.'"
Van Cleef is requesting more than $75,000 in damages-- just a bit more than what one of their $61,200 vintage diamond clover necklaces costs. What's your take on this whole lawsuit deal: do you think Heidi could have copied the designs after all?

How can anyone say whether she did anything wrong if you can't see photos to compare the designs?
Having seen both she did infact copy them far too close. Given her line is very inexpensive and not so great quality... VC&A's do wonderful high-end beautiful art.
If it's true, what a weiblich esel.
