Britney Spears is currently with her mother Lynne Spears and boyfriend photographer Adnan Ghalib at UCLA's medical centre in Westwood, California. This is now the SECOND time Britney has been admitted to hospital. ON SCENE VIDEO ARRIVING SHORTLY The Toxic star was taken from her Beverly Hills mansion in an ambulance today (31 January) shortly after 1a.m. to UCLA Medical Center, where she is believed to be on a 'mental health evaluation hold' on the orders of her psychiatrist. Shortly before 1a.m., an ambulance, more than a dozen Los Angeles Police Department motorcycles and at least five LAPD squad cars entered Spears's gated residence, as the waiting paparazzi gathered outside. Around 15 minutes later, Spears was taken off the property by ambulance through a side exit. Britney's mum, Lynne Spears, on-off boyfriend Adnan Ghalib and close friend Sam Lutfi, followed the ambulance and the police units to the medical center. Alli Sims, having turned up 10 minutes before the ambulance arrived, also trailed the police units. It has been reported that Britney's psychiatrist, who works out of UCLA Medical Center, visited her earlier in the evening, and was alarmed at her reckless driving and conduct, and felt her condition had deteriorated. It is alleged that he decided Britney needed to be hospitalized on a 5150 hold, which would mean she would be considered a danger to herself and others. A US website is reporting that during her 72-hour lockdown, Spears cannot be forced to take medication against her will, but if she refuses, her psychiatrist will go to an LA court and have the singer held for another 14 days, so he can make sure she gets the right treatment. I hope Splash gets it this time. Britney Spears is mentally ill. It would be *so* nice if you could stop making fun of her as a train wreck and realize that she is just mentally ill. Plain and Simple.

You should really think twice of what you are making fun of, because you never know what you can fall ill with. Y'know???

Does anyone think she really is crazy but the media should leave her alone or mabye she is not really crazy but just ds this kind of thing to keep getting noticed?

Bleh. When will this soap opera end? I think it's about time for Britney to retire from the limelight for awhile.

Also, why is she hanging out with all these sketchy looking loser guys? I wonder if she still hopes Justin Timberlake will come back.

She is not crazy at all, all she needs is a good man and thats me. Hey I am a huge fan of Britney and I Believe that most of her Fault were K-fed and the paparazzi. Just if We could be married then I'd some electronic jammers to defuse cameras and such and magnets.

I would love to take care of her and treat her right. Even if Britney is a celebrity she is just a normal person. Can't wait for a law to be past making it illegal for paparazzi, there the reason why she had go to court to hitting a parked car and more. They are right at her car while she tries to park or drive, or when trying to take a nice picture of a painted wall then they yell at her for being mad.

Yeah we will have a good life together, I love he so much that I am willing do this for her.

Yea, just what she needs right now, another good man in her life. She needs to work on her treatment, try to stay alive, and kick all these (so called) good men to the curb. Marriage?? Have you been drinking??
