Disney Bans Children From Restaurant

Disney World Officials raised eyebrows after banning children from one of their restaurants. Kids under 10 won't be allowed in Victoria and Albert's, the only five-star restaurant at Disney and one of the few restaurants in the U.S. with regulations against young children.
"Because it is the only five-diamond restaurant in Central Florida, we are very careful with Victoria & Albert's," said Rosemary Rose, Disney World's Vice President. "Combined with the research we've done with five-diamond restaurants outside Central Florida and the guest feedback we've gotten... we stepped back and said it's time to take a look at this practice."
But at Disney World? C'mon.

GOOD! not everyone wants to spend their meal (or any) time with screaming spawn. it almost makes florida worth visiting.
Great idea! I love kids, love taking mine out to dinner, but NOT ALL THE TIME!! There are times when it should be adults only, and the rest of us -- who pay dearly for a five-star dinner -- appreciate the child-free atmosphere. Wish more restaurants would have the nerve to do the same. EVEN at Disney World.
If you spent more time teaching your children how to behave in restaurants maybe you could take them out in public. Why should good parents have to pay for those of you who can't parent. My toddlers know how to behave in any restaurant in the world.
They're absolutely right, and especially at Disney World. People don't normally think of taking their kids to a 5 star restaurant. But when they're already at Disney with their kids, they don't have much of a choice if they want to go to that specific restaurant. People pay enough money in these places not to have it ruined by some screaming child. I agree with Jesus about children behaving, but guess what? Even the most well-behaved kids start crying and throwing tantrums sometimes. Kids have different temperaments. Why should a nice restaurant take that risk and reduce the appeal among those truly wanting to enjoy the experience?
Bring back the days when adult things were for ADULTS ! And that means the hair salon , going out to eat or have drinks and working out at the gym !!
P.S Parents need to start watching their kids and we all need to get back to manners and respect too !
Now if we could just get shops to stop letting people walk in with their pets. I mean on planes too. Where's the health standards not to mention people with severe allergies or getting pet hair all over the damned place.
I love animals but it makes me gag to see them in restaurants or on planes with recirculated air.
The only pets in restaurants should be on the plates!
I love children, if they're well-cooked.
