Heath Ledger: "I Feel Good About Dying...But"

In an interview last year, Heath Ledger gave the media a glimpse into his thoughts about death since the birth of his daughter Matilda. Had his life not ended so early, these words may have gone by without much thought. "You're forced into respecting yourself more. You learn more through your child about yourself I guess. It's like a catch 22, I feel good about dying because I can live through through her, but with the same hand you don't want to die because you want to be around for the rest of her life" This heartbreaking quote comes as reports surface the actor may have been sick with pneumonia while battling depression. Actor Jonathan Zarin told website PageSix.com: "I was hearing that he was depressed. I'm sure he must have been in a really bad place. I'd been hearing that for a while." The actor's body is set to undergo an autopsy today.
