Will Ferrell's new basketball comedy Semi-Pro has been relegated to the ranks of mediocre, despite topping the box office last Friday. It took in $15.3 million, which might sound good, but is $33 million less than Blades of Glory. Experts have said that the slower lead is due to the time of year and the fact that this film has been rated "R" for stronger language. Ellen Page rocked SNL with her skit directed at rumors that she's a lesbian, saying that she wants to "hug a woman with her legs in friendship," and then headed out on the town. The 21-year-old Juno star has been facing rumors that she may indeed bat for the other team because she plays tomboyish roles. Whatever, she hot. And if she were a lesbian, wouldn't that just make her hotter? Ellen Page had a celebratory party at SAPA restaurant and bar in New York after her SNL gig.

Well, Kayne's in Paris. . . along with everyone else, it seems. He has on his own version of statement shades when we spotted him with his posse this weekend, where he went to the Ready-to-Wear Louis Vuitton show at the Cour Carre du Louvre. Between him and Mary-Kate, I'm not sure whose taste scares me more (think Kanye's Stronger white shutter-shades and we're on the same track).

We ran into Katherine getting ready for her trip to UCLA yesterday, and she cleaned up rather well after she ditched the oversized sweater and boots and slipped on a cleavage-revealing red dress. And she was signing autographs again! It's pretty funny that she was bombarded by fans looking for personalized items after she got feisty with the autograph seekers (or shall I say sellers?) right before. At least she looked jolly this time around!

For Jessica Alba, it's the second option! She was looking stunning at the Lanvin Fall/Winter 2008 show in Paris this weekend, and I must know her secret. Vanessa is definitely wise! When we ran into her selling girl scout cookies with her daughter and husband, and when the "Ugly Betty" star spied us, she ended up getting the paparazzi to buy a couples boxes of cookies as they sold them around town. Vanessa's no stranger to photogs, and she gets what she wants!
