Tobey Maguire arrived at Villa at the start of the weekend to be met with major mayhem. Tobey doesn't rate high on the paps-friendly list, but everyone decided to dare it and get in close for a good shot. I guess that competition was looking tough, since one photog overshot things and ended up smashing a planter. The police showed up to calm things down and arrested the planter-crushing culprit along with another photographer who had gotten out of hand.

Katherine Heigl, Queen of the Mundane, was spotted checking out renovations on her new home. Continuing on with her day, she uncovered her car, met some friends for lunch and then caught a limo for an event at the UCLA campus. Hmmm. Thankfully, it was then that we got a slight break from routine! Katherine spied up her day by telling off some autograph collectors who insisted that they weren't selling her autographs. After saying, "You guys are such liars," one person ended up admitting it. Katherine replied "Thanks for being honest, man," and headed off after telling the other guy that what he was doing was "just sad."

British celebs have been seen donated to a Marylebone, London charity shop to raise funds for charity. After popping in and checking in on their goodies, they nipped across the street to have a few drinks in an intimate pub. The pack (and what a pack it was, all gorgeous and primped and fancy) included Kate Moss, Kelly Osbourne, Sienna Miller, Meg Matthews, and hairstylist James Brown. These celebs may have amazing gowns to pass along, but I went to the James Brown London site and found a way where we can help, too-- all you need to do is click-click on the white "Donate Now" button to give 10 cents to Cancer Research UK. I wish people would be looking a little more cheerful when trying to help others. They aren't making it look fun at all.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen do love their getaways to fashion week! The girls were spotted in Paris along Avenue Montaigne for the new Fendi shop opening. They may have looked chic, but (as usual) they were their usual somewhat spacey selves who more or less avoided the cameras all night long. However, that can be hard to do at a major event, so unfortunately they couldn't avoid the pics altogether. I'm sure many of you would be happy to know that the glasses were no longer in sight. Whew! Amy Winehouse was rocking a crazy eye when she arrived at the North station in Paris. Usually she's looking pretty wid, but her natural expression took things to a whole new level! Maybe she's just overjoyed and doesn't know how to show it, since she's recently been cleared of those pesky charges of witness-tampering. She'll need to return in March for further questioning, but for the time being, she's free! Heaven knows she's had enough going on, with her move and all.

Eva Mendes' yearbook photos have fascinated me. Someone dug up shots of her from Toll Middle School and Herbert Hoover High School in Glendale, California, and I'm glad they did. I'm impressed. Usually those "pre famous" shots are scary, but Eva looks pretty cute here. And she gets bonus points for rocking '80s hair and *almost* not looking stupid. Now me? I have hidden my yearbook far away. Yes, my photos were really that bad, and yes, I DID grow out of it. Still, it looks like Eva bypassed much of the awkward teen year. Lucky!
