A British businesswoman based in Singapore, Ella Sherman, spent $22,000 to go to the New York premiere of the film "Sex & The City", only to find out that her tickets were fake. The tickets, listed on eBay, were sold for $19,000, and she paid $2,000 for flights and $1,000 on hotels. She said she was particularly disappointed about not attending the after-party.

What she failed to notice were some subtle warning signs, such as the word "eBay". $19,000 just to see the leading ladies of "Sex & The City"? For $2 she can buy 4 pieces of blank paper, smear some bright red lipstick on them, crumple them up and then throw them in the air, basically the same effect of seeing the actresses in real life and a saving of $18,998!

When asked to comment, Sarah Jessica Parker simply cackled and threw another bat into her cauldron.
