A house owned by rap star 50 Cent has burned down. The New York property is currently the home of his ex-girlfriend and son. 6 people were in the house when it became engulfed in flames, all of them were rescued and rushed to hospital, suffering from smoke inhalation.

 

Officials consider the blaze at the $1.4 million home in Dix Hills, Long Island, to be suspicious.

 

50 Cent had been trying to get his ex-girlfriend, Shaniqua Tompkins, evicted from the property unless she paid him $4,500 a month rent. However, he had also stated that he wanted her, and their son, Marquise, to move to a more secure and safe location.
