Rock wuss American Idol winner David Cook has commented that he does not understand the comments made by Simon Cowell or why the judge apologized before the winner was revealed. Speaking on TRL, Cook said that he didn't let Cowell's comments get to him and that after winning he paid an exciting visit to Gap to buy some socks and boxer briefs.

 

Cowell must be quivering in his boots when big girl's blouse David Cook comes after him. I can imagine the exchange:

 Later reports confirmed Cook had got his mother to phone Cowell's mother to tell her off.
