Patrick Swayze had commented that he is responded well to the treatment for pancreatic cancer. Even though he is fully aware of his diagnosis for the potentially fatal disease he has remained upbeat and optimistic. The 55 year old actor had been treated at the Stanford University Medical Center in LA.

 

Swayze told "People" magazine that he and his wife Lisa were "enjoying the arrival of spring and new baby calves".

 

It is inspiring to see how Swayze has responded to his terrible situation. There is never anything funny that can be said about cancer, it is the most arbitary and cruel disease. Splash News feels Swayze is a credit to an acting community that at times is all too shallow.
