Bale Out On Bail

After his arrest for allegedly assaulting his mother and sister
before the UK premiere of "The Dark Knight," Christian Bale is out on
bail. The 'Batman' star was shuttled out of the Belgravia police
station in that grey Mercedes van and his representative has issued a
statement denying the assault allegations.
Christian Bale attended a London police station today, on a voluntary basis, in order to assist with an allegation that had been made against him to the police by his mother and sister. Mr. Bale who denies the allegation, co-operated throughout, gave his account in full of the events in question, and has left the station without any charge being made against him by the police. At this time, there will be no further comment by Mr. Bale.Dude must have said or done something pretty bad to have his mom and sister roll on him.
Oh, please. You mean like, not give them $$$ or putting up with their bullshit or something terrible like that? Yeah. There is nothing anywhere that suggests he hit either of them like everyone is trying to make out. If he did, they wouldn't have waited until AFTER his premiere and he would have had charges files. Stop making everything out to be something it's not.

In my experience the British police don't normally arrest people for nothing. Unless you are Irish that is.
Heard it was verbal assault, which is - apparently - an actual crime in the UK.
I guess that explains all the tedious, tension-filled politeness ... they get arrested for yelling obscenities, in some parts, it seems.
