After spending time with friend Madonna this morning, Gwyneth Paltrow decided to spend the afternoon having lunch at the Bowery Hotel's Gemma in NYC's East Village.

I can't imagine how "interesting" it must have been at Madonna's house that morning. If you need Gwyneth Paltrow for support you are in big trouble: "I brought some self-help books, including my favorite, 'Knowing Yourself Makes Myself', some Coldplay albums, my diary of poetry and my Oscar". Why does she carry her Oscar with her? The extra weight stops her from being blown away...
