It was a long journey, but a journey that was undoubtedly worth making for bereaved father of Heath Ledger. Flying in from Australia to NYC, Kim was accompanied by his wife, Heath's step mother, and his daughter. It was a family affair that would be a beautiful act of tribute to their lost son and brother. They made no comment to the waiting media, and boycotted the red carpet (actually black in Heath's honor) in favor of a less glamorized entrance. Something, we are sure Heath would have agreed on, as someone who liked to keep himself shielded from the spot light.
