In a moment of poor judgement, highly-respected civil rights leader, Rev Jesse Jackson, was caught on microphone saying some rather controversial things about presidential possible, Barack Obama. The Rev was talking to another guest on Fox News when he said: "See, Barack been, um, talking down to black people on this faith based... I want to cut his nuts off... Barack... he's talking down to black people". Jackson later apologized to the Democratic candidate for his comments.

It could have been worse. The microphone could have picked up what George W Bush was saying about John McCain: "See McCain been, errr, talking down to me and the rest of the Cabinet... I want to cut his nuts off... John... he's talking down to me... you have that in medium?... but dad I wanted Beauty and the Beast... glazed with sprinkles for me thankyou darling... Iraq, Iran, potato, tomato".
