Mariah Carey has made quite a startling comment, saying that when she was at her most depressed, she sometimes wished someone would kidnap her. Before meeting her new husband, Nick Cannon, the singer felt her life was becoming too depressing. She told Elle magazine: "When I was in an unhappy place in my life... I always wanted to be kidnapped".

I can understand a world-famous, fantastically rich and beautiful woman like Mariah getting depressed ("I said mother of pearl colored French tips, not Magnolia!!"), but who in their right mind would kidnap her? Can you imagine it? "Are those Versace ski masks? They better be! Ow ow, I hope that is silk rope you are using. Don't even think of shoving those socks in my mouth unless they are D & G...."
