Jared Leto and his fellow 30 Seconds to Mars bandmates generously offered up some of their free time to help build houses for charity. Habitat for Humanity had an auction which gave bidders the chance to work alongside the rockers in California. The band are famous for their song (and video) "From Yesterday".
This is an impressive thing for Jared Leto to do and I hope more famous people will follow suit. Would you bid to have Tom Cruise unblock your toilet? Spend a small fortune to have Jessica Alba get the leaves out of your swimming pool? Or pay a ransom to have Amy Winehouse be a cocktail waitress at your dinner party (hiring her is inexpensive but the house repairs afterwards will cost you an arm and a leg).
I would not pay for those others you mentioned, no.... I can think of a couple other names though.
30 Seconds To Mars, Jared ,Tomo, Shannon... they are the best, and I would bid for a chance to work with them etc. The auction is over but you can still help out.

I will for sure pay for this boys to help me at my house. They are the best people in the world. C'mon y'all think Jessica Alba would even move a finger? Pff, she's so lame. I truly dont find ANYthing hot in her. Really.
