Matthew Broderick may have had his arm around wife Sarah Jessica Parker yesterday, as they departed all smiles from a midtown restaurant in NYC, but that didn't stop us from noticing he was without his wedding band.
These are first shots of the couple out and about since news broke that Matthew had an alleged extramarital affair. Since then many sources have come forward about the duo, claiming they had 'been out of love' for ages, but stayed together for their son.
Their marriage spans 11 years and while many may be quick to say it's over, some close pals have leaped to the couple defence, adding, 'they have never had a conventional marriage, but it works for the two of them".
Wrong again. He has never worn a wedding ring. I've followed his career for years. But what they are both wearing is a white string that their son wears also. I take that as a family commitment. Who cares what each of them do with each other's permission. They stay together as a family and that's the most important thing.
