Miley Cyrus hit the beach in Malibu today to film scenes for her show 'Hannah Montana.' It looks like a 'Beach Blanket Bingo' type of thing with all the dancing, singing, and riding on top of a surfboard carried by a bunch of dudes.

It took surfing years to get out of the shadow cast by Annette Funnicello and Frankie Avalon to become the outsider/counter culture sport that it is today and now Miley Cyrus is single handedly going to destroy it with her bubble gum goodness and down home southern sensibilities.

The Malibu surfers have some issues with the paparazzi but at least we aren't bastardizing their lifestyle with a singing Disney puppet and catchy dance routine.
