Actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers is back as King Henry VIII in the 3rd series of "The Tudors". He was working in Christchurch where, in the show, King Henry will marry Jane Seymour, played by Annabelle Wallis. Rhys Meyers smoked a lot whilst waiting and Wallis fooled around with a plastic cup, both in full costume.

The series has taken liberties with history, for the sake of artistic interpretation and to make the period more palatable to modern tastes. Believe it or not, they had no iPods in the 16th Century, or Nintendo Wiis, surfboards, chat shows or cappuccino. Heathens.
