What The Hell Is This All About?

Does anyone know what the hell these "faceless people" are all about? They turned up at Wimbledon today and were previously spotted at the opening of Harrod's summer sale and Elton John's White Tie & Tiara Ball.

Publicity stunt? Viral advertisement? Social commentary? Paris Hilton Impersonators?

This is a marketing stunt for cars, not the "Anonymous" you know and love. But the anti-Scientology Anonymous have been doing this same thing since early spring and will continue through the summer. There have been fawkes-masked audience members at baseball matches in the US, at the Nelson Mandela 90th birthday concert (46664) in London, and so on.

So keep on the lookout for a Guy Fawkes (EFG) mask or a green face in the crowds.
