Adam Sandler decided to treat some well-wishers at the Purty Kitchen bar in Temple Bar to a rendition of "Free Falling", the Tom Petty song Tom Cruise screeched out in "Jerry Maguire". The comic actor and perma-sidekick Rob Schneider were in Dublin promoting their new film, "You Don't Mess With The Zohan".

Sandler was lucky he didn't get bottled off the stage. Only celebrities can get up on a stage and start jamming with a resident pub band without being taken into the alley way and beaten senseless.
