Anna Kournikova, the sexy tennis player pictured on the September 2008 issue of Maxim in a gold bikini which leaves little to the imagination, has stated that she has never married partner Enrique Iglesias. The Russian athlete, who won the Australian Open doubles championship twice, said that when she filled out forms, she put her status as "single". There has been much rumor about Kournikova and Iglesias marrying and separating.

Kournikova also went on to tell Maxim about lesbianism on the women's tennis tour, saying "It was very open. Obviously, there are lesbian players and it's no secret. It's a personal choice about how you are going to live your life and that's it. As long as somebody doesn't push their views on you? Cool, good luck".
