While "Tropic Thunder" rakes in the dough ($25.8 million so far), Ben
Stiller is already back to work filming the sequel to the 2006 box
office hit "Night at The Museum" called "Night at The Museum 2: Battle
of The Smithsonian." As with most sequels, fans expect things to be
bigger and better and Stiller hopes to surpass those expectations with
a bigger museum, a star studded cast and better special effects
according to the UGO MovieBlog.
We have a much broader palette, because it takes place at the Smithsonian, so there's a bunch of different museums we get in and out of like the Air and Space Museum and the art galleries, we go into paintings and stuff," said Stiller. "As well as all the new members to the cast, Owen Wilson, Ricky Gervais, Robin Williams, and Steve Coogan all reprise the roles made famous in the first movie.
And then there's just this incredible ensemble cast ... we also have new people like Christopher Guest (Ivan the Terrible), and Hank Azaria (Kah Mun Rah), Amy Adams (Amelia Earhart). So it's really been fun because it's a lot less lonely than the first one.
