While Angelina Jolie stayed put in France with Shiloh, Zahara and twins Vivienne and Knox, Brad Pitt was busy spreading the news of their family planning to the waiting media in Venice.
Seen here taking the two boys on a boat to Marco Polo airport in his trademark hat, Brad looked every inch the doting dad as he showed Pax Thien and Maddox the sights of Venice.
The father of six made the short trip across Europe to join his best buddy George Clooney, the duo gathered here to promote their latest film 'Burn After Reading' at the Venice Film Festival.
Once on the red carpet, Pitt wasted no time in being honest, openly revealing that he and Jolie hoped to expand their brood to eight by the end of next year. So get ready for a few more magazine deals guys!

He was obviously joking. They do want more children but I see 2 more next year as extremely unlikely.

They had better MAKE two more within the next year vs adopting. The bio's receive more media attention and more money and, since the "parents" are on the fast track to "HasBeenVille", bio's are their best investment for the future.
The ACTUAL quote is "I'LL have 2 more by next year" NOT "WE'LL have 2 more". Ummmm.......
"Has-been-ville"? Whoa. Don't be so harsh people. He can retire whenever he's ready, but don't call him a has-been. 20 years ago Hollywood said Brad Pitt was the next Robert Redford. They're on track. Ol' Red's been making movies for decades ever since the 1950s in fact. And he's still making movies as an actor and/or director. So Brad's got staying power like Ol' Red b/c Mr. Redford gave him advice about how to stay in the biz. If you all noticed, Brad's been producing some pretty good movies lately; including some that he's starred in. It can only get better for him. He can last as long as Mr. Redford. How many decades has that been already? As long as the world doesn't blow up 2morrow, you can expect Brad to be around in the biz another 20 years. So don't be in a rush to write him off just yet. As for women, Hollywood's a bit more fickle, but Angie's been a smart and daring actress for years now. She can hopefully age well within her roles like a Miss Faye Dunaway, or a Miss Meryl Streep. They're living their life on the run being chased by papparazzi - something they didn't ask for, so don't be mad at 'em if they want 8 kids. That's their concern and that's nice.
