Catherine Zeta-Jones has been back to her hometown, Swansea in Wales, to attend the funeral of her beloved paternal grandmother, who was called Zeta Jones. The "Chicago" star, who is married to Michael Douglas, was named after her grandmothers, Katherine Fair and Zeta Jones. She remained close to her grandmother, even after she became one of Hollywood's most celebrated actresses. Zeta Jones, who was named after a merchant ship, died at the age of 91.
Zeta-Jones looked somber as the funeral cortege set off from her grandmother's house in Ravenhill to St Peter's church in Swansea. Zeta-Jones, who is also famous for her role in the "Zorro" films with Anthony Hopkins and Antonio Banderas, is working on several films for release in 2009, including "The Rebound" and possibly "Racing the Monsoon" (still just a rumor).
