Pop icon Michael Jackson has celebrated his 50th birthday today! The known recluse  reportedly opted for a quiet day with family, over any overt celebrity clad bashes in front of his Hollywood friends. 

Pictures released last week, showed Michael looking gaunt and frail in Las Vegas with his children and now the media are speculating over his health rather than focusing on what should have been his half century celebration. Fans are also ultimately concerned for the one time music genius, who may now be visibly faltering under his mounting debt (estimated at $20 million).
