"Gladiator" star Russell Crowe was spotted showing his gentler side by spending quality time with his son Charles. The father and son team were seen out and about in Wooloomooloo in Sydney. Charles, and his brother Tennyson, are Crowe's sons by his wife, Danielle Spencer.

Crowe will be appearing in "State of Play", which is scheduled for release April 17, 2009. Brad Pitt was originally linked to the pivotal role of Cal McCaffrey, but abandoned the film production due to script changes, leaving Crowe to take over the part.
