Hayden Panettiere says she cannot understand why she constantly gets cast as cheerleaders and claims to be more a sweet brunette than a dizzy blonde. The Heroes star told MTV's TRL: "I think of myself as more of a sweet brunette than a dizzy blonde - but I'm always cast as cheerleaders."
The 19-year-old actress also gave Heroes fans a hint at what to expect for the third series of the popular US show. Panettiere said: "I get a chance to play two characters and we bounce a little bit back and forth from present and future. We learn who shot Peter (Petrelli). It wasn't me, but you are aware of who did it."
Hayden Panettiere became a worldwide star as cheerleader 'Claire Bennet' in Heroes thanks to the show's slogan; "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World". She also played a cheerleader in the 2006 movie, 'Bring It On: All or Nothing.
