Actress Heather Locklear was arrested on Saturday afternoon on suspicion of driving while impaired, after erratically pulling away from a car park in the Santa Barbara area, according to reports.
Celebrity website TMZ claims the 47 year old actress, known for her roles in Spin City, Dynasty and LAX, but mostly famed for her marriage to Bon Jovi rocker Richie Sambora, was pulled over after parking on a state highway.
According to their report, tests were conducted to determine if Locklear was under the influence of drugs, but law enforcement officers confirmed that alcohol was not involved. Locklear was held in Santa Barbara County Jail until the early evening before later being released without having to post bail.
Locklear is currently embroiled in a custody battle with ex-husband Richie Sambora, who was arrested on a DUI charge in March 2008. The couples' daughter Ava was in the car with the Bon Jovi rocker at the time of his arrest and he pleaded no contest to the charge. In June 2008 Locklear was treated for anxiety and depression at an Arizona medical facility.

This is very embarrasing. This only shows that no one is above the law that even a very popular actress or actor can be apprehended and arrested with such malicious acts.
