Showing her softer side, Katherine Heigl stopped to pet a gorgeous pit
bull puppy outside of The Hotel Cafe, a small music venue in Hollywood.
The "Grey's Anatomy" star had turbulent summer following some comments she made about the show's writers but she hopes to bounce back once the new season premieres on September 25th.

The dog appears ill. It's probably the stench of tobacco smoke. Dogs have extremely sensitive noses as most of you know.
I have never wanted to be a dog before until now. Lucky dog :) Katherine is hot and who cares if she smokes - I don't.
