Co-host Elton John was apparently so unimpressed with her sipping ways that he made a jibe at Allen, reportedly uttering in disgust, "What? Are you going to have another drink?."

This didn't go down as well as Lily's champagne and the quick lipped star lashed back, adding, "F**k off Elton. I am 40 years younger than you and have my whole life ahead of me." It looked set to become war on stage as Elton responded equally as brash to a silent and slightly shocked audience, "I could still snort you under the table."

The night didn't run much smoother and the pair could be seen exchanging words behind the scenes. It didn't appear to hamper the night for Lily though, who wasted no time in making an outfit change for the after party.
